Refund & Cancellation

How to cancel, what happens to the period you have already paid for, and when a refund is due.

Last updated 8 August 2026

1. Try before you pay

Where a plan includes a trial, you can use the Service for the trial period without paying and without entering payment details. Nothing is charged when a trial ends — the account simply asks for payment before it continues.

The trial exists so you can judge the product before money changes hands. We would much rather you used it than asked for a refund afterwards, so if anything is blocking a fair evaluation, raise a ticket on the support portal and we will help.

2. How billing works

One payment buys one billing period. There is no recurring mandate and no automatic debit: when a period ends, your account moves to a state that asks for the next payment and stops running scans and campaigns until it is made.

  • Payments are collected by Razorpay in the currency shown at checkout.
  • Your invoice and payment history are available in your account settings.
  • Quotas reset with each new period and unused quota does not carry over.

3. Cancelling

You can stop at any time — because nothing recurs, cancelling is simply choosing not to pay for the next period. If you would like the account closed and your data removed rather than left dormant, tell us through the support portal.

You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not shorten it.

4. When we refund

We will refund a payment in these situations:

  • Within 7 days of a first payment, if the Service does not work for you and support has not been able to fix it. Ask within those 7 days and we will refund that payment in full.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges — refunded in full as soon as we can confirm them, whenever they are reported.
  • A sustained outage that prevented you from using the Service for a meaningful part of a billing period — refunded pro rata for the affected days.
  • A charge taken after you cancelled — refunded in full.

5. When we do not refund

So the position is clear before you buy, these are outside the refund policy:

  • A period that has been substantially used — where scans have been run and outreach sent, the Service has been delivered.
  • Unused quota, or a decision to stop using the product part-way through a period.
  • Results: how many businesses a scan finds, how many replies your outreach receives, or whether a lead converts. The Service delivers the pipeline, not the sale.
  • Failures caused by credentials or third parties you control — an SMTP password that was rejected, a WhatsApp number that was restricted, a domain with no SPF or DKIM records.
  • An account suspended or terminated for breaching the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Taxes and payment-gateway charges already remitted, where these are non-recoverable.

6. How to request a refund

Raise a ticket on the support portal or email hello@leadfinder.ai from the address on the account, with the payment reference and a short description of the problem.

  • We acknowledge within 2 business days and decide within 7.
  • Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay to the original payment method — we cannot pay to a different card or account.
  • The money typically reaches you 5 to 10 business days after we issue it, depending on your bank.
  • We will tell you in writing if a request is declined, and why.

7. Changing plans

You can move to a different plan at any time from your settings. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged for a fresh period; a downgrade takes effect at the start of the next period, so you keep what you have already paid for. Downgrades are not refunded as a partial credit.
