Acceptable Use
What you may and may not do with LeadFinder AI. This policy exists to keep your sending reputation, and ours, intact.
Last updated 8 August 2026
1. The principle
LeadFinder AI is built for relevant business-to-business outreach: finding local businesses with a genuine gap in their digital presence and offering to fix it. It is not a bulk mailer, and it is not designed to survive being used as one.
2. What we expect
- Contact businesses your offer is genuinely relevant to. Send fewer, better messages.
- Identify yourself and your business honestly in every message.
- Honour an opt-out immediately and permanently, however it reaches you.
- Keep a sensible delay between messages — the campaign screen defaults to one, and lowering it is your risk.
- Use your own mail server, your own domain and your own WhatsApp number, with SPF and DKIM configured.
- Check AI-drafted copy before you send it. It is a first draft, not a verified statement of fact about someone's business.
3. What is not permitted
You may not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages beyond what the law where you and the recipient are located permits, or to recipients who have opted out, or to numbers on a do-not-disturb or do-not-call registry.
- Contact private individuals as individuals, or build profiles of people rather than of businesses.
- Send anything deceptive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or fraudulent — including false claims about a recipient's website, security or search ranking in order to sell a fix.
- Impersonate another business, spoof a sending domain, or misrepresent who is contacting the recipient.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or promote illegal goods and services.
- Resell, redistribute or publish the harvested lead data as a database or list product.
- Use a WhatsApp number or mail server you are not authorised to send from.
- Circumvent quotas, rate limits, plan restrictions or the tenant boundary, or probe, scan or load-test the Service without our written permission.
- Reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Run scans at a volume or frequency intended to overload our infrastructure or a third-party source.
4. Data sources and scraping
The Service reads information that businesses have chosen to publish — Google Maps listings, their own websites, and public social profiles. It does not bypass logins, paywalls or technical access controls, and you may not attempt to use it to.
Publicly available does not mean freely usable. Whether you may contact a particular business, and on what basis, depends on the law where that business is located. That assessment is yours to make.
5. Enforcement
We investigate reports of misuse. Depending on what we find we may throttle an account, disable a channel, suspend the account, or terminate it — and where the risk to recipients or to our providers is immediate, we may do so without notice.
An account terminated for breaching this policy is not refunded. Serious cases are reported to the relevant authority.
To report abuse originating from an account on this platform, contact us through the support portal. Include the message you received and its headers where possible.
